About Us

John and Reneé Carr founded Port City Investments, LLC in 1999. They have a passion for real estate and love the interactions they are able to have from providing affordable housing in the Shreveport-Bossier Area. They own and manage properties from the historic areas of Highland and Broadmoor to South Shreveport and Bossier City.

Renee’ Carr was born in Shreveport, LA. She graduated from LSU-Shreveport in 2003 with a major in Business. She has been working in the insurance industry since 1998.

Also born and raised in Shreveport, John Carr graduated from McNeese State University with a Science degree and a minor in Business Management. He has been working in the medical arena since 2007.

Dana Pitre has been in Shreveport her entire life. She graduated from Woodlawn High School and had worked in the banking industry for almost 20 years when she joined PCI in 2015. Dana has been a valuable asset to our team and brings a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic to ensure our tenants are taken care of at all times.

Allison Cooksey is a lifelong resident of Shreveport, also graduating from Southwood High School. Allison has worked in the real estate industry for almost 30 years and joined PCI in 2001 as a consultant.
